Question

Where can I find the serial number on my TM822G/CT & TM822R modem?

Answer

The serial number can be located on the bottom panel of the unit and in the GUI (Graphical User Interface) of the TM822G/CT & TM822R. This document includes the following sections:

Locating the Serial Number on the Bottom Panel

The serial number is located on the bottom white sticker of the device as S/N.

NOTE: If the TM822 is connected to a router, it is recommended to disconnect the router and connect the T822 directly to a computer with an Ethernet cable.

Launch a web browser, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari. Enter http://192.168.100.1 into the address box, and press the Enter key. The Status page appears.
Click the HW/FW Versions link on the top menu. The HW/FW Versions page appears. The serial number will be displayed (as shown below).
