Question
How do I access the Web Manager for the SBV3202 cable modem?
Answer
Firmware version 9.1.103AA65L and later includes a new feature of Web Manager login using credentials.  Units with older firmware will not be prompted for login credentials and the Status page will appear.  The default admin login credential is admin (username) and password (password).  If the admin login password is at default, the Login Setting screen will appear to change the admin password.  It is required to change the admin password before accessing the Web Manager.  The Web Manager is used to view and monitor the network configuration settings and operational status of the SBV3202 cable modem.

If logging into the Web Manager with the customized admin password is unsuccessful, the only option is to perform a factory reset on the SBV3202 to login with the default admin password.  Performing a Factory Reset will erase any configuration changes that have been made and will require the gateway to be reconfigured.  For instructions on how to do a factory reset, please refer to Answer # 17706 - SBV3202: Reset Button.  This document describes how to login to the Web Manager.
