Question
Why am I redirected to the McAfee® Welcome to Secure Home Internet page?
Answer
After the SBG7580-AC firmware is upgraded to 9.1.103AA18, the first client device to access a malicious site will be redirected to the ARRIS McAfee Welcome page that includes information about Secure Home Internet service, terms of service and privacy notice, and options to keep or disable Secured Home Internet service.  The client device can browse to other websites by changing the URL on the redirect site or opening a new browser.  If the first client does not select to keep or disable SHI, the next client device that attempts to access a malicious site will redirect to the McAfee Welcome page

NOTE: Comcast/Xfinity service began pushing out firmware to the SURFboard Wi-Fi Products which include McAfee® Secure Home Internet.  Comcast/Xfinity Subscribers may need to restart the modem to receive the firmware update.
