Install the S33Â
- Connect the coaxial cable to a cable wall outlet (if not connected) and the Cable connector on the rear of the S33 cable modem.  Hand-tighten the connectors to avoid damaging them.
 - Connect the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on the computer or router and to the 2.5 GE Ethernet port on the back of the S33 cable modem.
NOTE 1: A typical setup for Internet access consist of connecting one computer or a Wi-Fi router directly to the cable modem. Â Connecting a Wi-Fi router to the S33Â is recommended when there are multiple client devices in the home network.
NOTE 2: It is possible to connect two devices to the S33.  However, the cable provider must provide an Internet IP Address to each device for Internet access.  If both devices cannot connect to the Internet, contact the cable provider to request an additional Internet IP address.
 - Connect the power supply to the Power port on the rear of the S33 cable modem and then plug it into an electrical wall outlet that is not controlled by a wall switch.
NOTE: This automatically powers ON the S33 cable modem.  There may be up to 15 second delay for the S33 front panel LED to light up after the power is connected.
 - Check for the solid LED on the front panel of the S33 cable modem.  The LED will flash during the initial startup.Â
