Question
How do I customize the Secondary Home Wi-Fi Network on the G34/G36 gateway?
Answer
The Secondary Home Wi-Fi network is a separate network that client devices connect to for Internet access.  The G34/G36 broadcasts two different Secondary Wi-Fi networks independently over the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radio bands.  The use of a separate Secondary Wi-Fi network enhances network security while preventing communication to the main and guest Wi-Fi network and Ethernet-connected client devices.

When the Secondary Wi-Fi network is enabled, the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) is the same as the main Wi-Fi network followed by a -2 suffix.  The Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and Wi-Fi password can be customized.  The Secondary Wi-Fi network is disabled by default.  This document describes how to customize the Secondary Wi-Fi network.
