REQUESTING COMMSCOPE TRAINING

PAYMENT
Payment by credit card or purchase order is required before a student can register for a course and receive an enrollment key. Purchase orders must be received at least two weeks before the start date of the course to ensure that paperwork can be processed into the system. For on-site training requiring international travel for the instructor the purchase order must be received at least three weeks before the start date of the course. Invoicing for purchase orders occurs after the training session is held.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you wish to cancel your participation in an instructor-led or virtual instructor-led training session, you must request cancellation in writing and must receive written acknowledgement of your cancellation for the cancellation to be confirmed and to avoid a fee. To request cancellation, please include order number and contact information of the purchaser, along with the course title and date of the course to techtraining@commscope.com.
In addition, for online courses (eLearning), refunds will not be issued if a user has accessed more than 5% of the course’s content or has downloaded material associated with the course (such as a study guide that accompanies the training).

CommScope does not reimburse hotel or travel cancellation fees.
Participants who do not show up for class and who do not have a training cancellation confirmation will incur 100% of the course fee or the equivalent of one training seat/credit per course day.
If fewer than four (4) students are enrolled in an instructor-led course, CommScope reserves the right to cancel that training course. Enrolled students will be offered a selection of future scheduled dates. When a course is cancelled, enrolled students will be notified of the cancellation via email a minimum of two weeks before the start of the course.
PREREQUISITES
It is the student's responsibility to ensure that s/he has the proper prerequisite knowledge and skills before taking a CommScope training course. Students that do not meet the target audience description or have the prerequisite level of knowledge required for the course may find the course content too difficult, too easy, and/or inappropriate depending on their job and level of experience. All prerequisites are listed in the individual course descriptions in this catalog. Since CommScope instructor-led training courses require you to complete prerequisite courses to ensure a successful experience, reservations for these courses will not be finalized until all prerequisites have been met.
