Participants learn how to use ServAssure® Alarm Central to identify network
outage root cause and troubleshoot network outage alarms. This training will
focus on Network Outage Alarms and use a demo system to lead discussion as
students follow along on their own systems. Alarm Central versions covered: 2.5,

course provides a detailed explanation of the ServAssure® Alarm Central user
interface with hands-on outage alarm exercises designed to simulate user tasks.
Participants will be able to use Alarm Central for outage alarm detection and
identify the root cause by using the map. Users will also be able to create
historical graphs, view RF metrics, and track alarm lifecycles.
Prerequisites: A basic understanding of DOCSIS fundamentals, including device connectivity
statuses and operational parameters
