This Webcast will provide some guidelines, tips, and tricks into troubleshooting WiFi issues within a Subscriber's home. This webcast will include a discussion in monitoring tools and likely causes of poor performance.

On Slide #41 it was suggested that a channel within multiple overlapping 2.4Ghz channels could be moved to channel 9; however, in a multiple overlapping Wi-Fi network, the best layout for multiple Wi-Fi networks are Channels 1, 6, and 11 as depicted here:
The channel 1, 6, and 11 layout provides the most separation between the bandwidths these channels use.
It should also be noted that the 802.11AC standard now ranges up to 867Mbps on the PHY link with the new Wave 2 standard for 802.11AC (uses fewer streams).
